This Podcast is a TRIBUTE to the late Legendary Bob Marley on the celebration of his 65th Birthday this day – February 6th 2010. He was born in St. Ann Parrish, Jamaica.
No doubt, Robert Nesta Marley has been an inspiration to all people. He crossed racial boundaries and his music and message penetrated cultures around the world while bringing the roots of reggae music to all. Bob, as he was known commonly as, was an Aquarius and thus his humanitarian spirit served the world and made love to all through his music and his prophetic words.
The birthday celebration of this reggae artist marked a monumental point in my life. This production is my first ever and was produced at least 5 years ago. It includes the voices of various African musicians around the world as they share they love, passion and respect for Mr. Marley.
In the background are tunes from other artists that produced remakes of Bob’s music. Some of the artists interviewed include Togo artist, Tobey Foyeh of the Tobey Foyeh & Africa Orchestra, Miatta Fahnbulleh of Liberia and English Man of Washington, DC.
It is with honor and pleasure that I present to you a TRIBUTE TO BOB MARLEY!
